Pay and Display Parking

There is a system of pay and display parking in Wakefield Council owned par parks across the district in the following cities and towns:

  • Wakefield
  • Pontefract
  • Castleford
  • Ossett
  • South Elmsall 
  • Normanton  

There are also a number of car parks in the area which are owned by private companies. Each of these facilities are subject to regulations and prices determined by the operator. Users should always refer to the notice board when parking in these car parks and ensure they comply with the regulations.

The Car Parking section also sell permits for Long Stay parking across the district and administer a residents parking scheme.
