PLEASE NOTE:   

• The permit is only valid for use Monday to Friday.
• The permit does not guarantee a space.

Lost or Stolen Permits

There will be a £50 charge made for the replacement of lost/stolen permit (the Charge will be reviewed for a stolen permit if a Police crime number is provided). For any subsequent lost/stolen permits the replacement charge will be the pro rata calculation of full months left on the permit.

Payment

This must be in advance. Arrangements can be made to pay by standing order. Permits will be issued prior to the start of the annual rental period or the 1st of a month thereafter.

Display

The permit should be displayed prominently on the inside of the vehicle windscreen. Transfer of permits can be made only with approval of the Council. Any vehicle not displaying an authorised permit is not covered by the annual rental and therefore subject to pay & display charges.

Parking Regulations

Permit holders must comply with the conditions of the particular parking area, these are displayed on either the pay & display machines or the notice board near the machine. Failure to comply with the conditions may result in the issue of a Standard/Excess Charge Notice and withdrawal of the permit.

To Cancel a Permit

If a permit is no longer required, please return it to the Car Parks Section immediately so that cancellation arrangements can be made. Refunds can only be arranged from the 1st of a month and will be the pro rata calculation of full months remaining on the permit.

The Council reserve the right to amend any of the terms and conditions without prior notice, should the need arise.
