Parking Notices – How to Pay

Online
Go to the Capita - online payments website (opens in a new window).
This online payment service website is secure and enables you to pay your Council bills using any debit card or some credit cards. The service is free of charge and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Please allow up to FOUR days for the payment to be received by Wakefield Council.
Automated telephone payments (ATP)
Telephone payments can be made using most credit and debit cards, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Just telephone 0845 603 1539 and follow the simple instructions.
Please ensure that you have your invoice, fixed penalty notice or excess charge notice and credit/debit card ready.
By post
Payment can be made by post by sending a cheque or postal order to: Wakefield Council, Parking Services, PO Box 47, Wakefield WF1 2QW. Please make cheques and postal orders payable to WMDC and quote the SCN/ECN number (begins 01) on the back of it.
Receipts will only be sent if a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed.
DO NOT POST CASH
In Person
If you want to pay a SCN/ECN in person you can do this in the Cash Office in Wakefield One. The address for Wakefield One is Wakefield One, Burton St, Wakefield, WF1 2DD. Please ensure that you have the SCN/ECN number (begins 01) with you.
You can pay by cash, cheque or postal order. Please make cheques and postal order payable to WMDC.
Opening Times for the Cash Office in Wakefield One are Monday to Friday 08.30-1700hrs
