There are over 460 off-street and over 130 on-street car parking spaces in or around Castleford Town Centre operated by Wakefield Council, where a 'pay and display' system is in use from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm (unless otherwise stated).

All Wakefield Council operated car parks are covered by CCTV and with the exception of Castlefield’s Car Park, have achieved the 'Secured Car Parks' status.’  

There are also a further 390 off-street parking spaces owned by Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre, located off Bridge Street/Carlton Street and off Aire Street.  

Parking is free on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays.
