Free City Bus

Free city busThe Wakefield free city bus service provides residents and visitors an alternative to using the car around the city centre. 

It provides free travel between key locations around Wakefield city centre.

The bus travels on a circular route linking the two train stations, the bus station and the main shopping areas:

The service runs every ten minutes from 7.30am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8.30am to 5pm on Saturday.

All journeys on the bus are free of charge and each Free City Bus is accessible and can carry one wheelchair at a time.
