Wakefield City Regeneration
Driving forward initiatives and projects in central Wakefield.
Bull Ring Westmorland Street and The Springs
Wakefield Council have appointed Estell Warren, a firm of landscape architects based in Leeds, to develop a concept design for the area. Initial ideas have now been produced and to help us to develop the designs further we are holding a consultation event to which you are invited.
Trinity Walk Development (formerly known as the Marsh Way Development)
The regeneration of Marsh Way and the market area will transform the city centre.
Urban Renaissance
The aim of the programme was to improve the physical and natural environments where we live, work and shop.
Wakefield Waterfront Project
The Waterfront project will form a vibrant cultural quarter for the City at its southern gateway and will include the prestigious Hepworth Gallery
Westgate Key Development Area (KDA)
It provides an exciting opportunity to create a new and prosperous quarter of the city centre including Wakefield Westgate Station, the former Express Dairy site and the former railway goods yards.
