The Master Planning exercise undertaken by consultants Building Design Partnership for the Westfield Lane Improvement Area has identified the potential to deliver in the region of 850 housing units over a 10 year period.

Such a large scale development will have a major impact on infrastructure and existing facilities in the immediate area including education, sport and recreation, highways and the town centre.  The master plan addresses these issues through the identification of a number of projects to bring benefits to the wider local community.
