Note: The CON29 form is used to find out about items that do not yet appear on the local land charges register, or which may not be registerable. A few examples are: planning policy statements, proposed enforcement action, proposed road or traffic schemes
CON29(R) = Required: Enquiries 1-3 deal with inquiries relating to planning,highways and environmental services which may affect the property or land.
CON29(O) = Optional: Enquiries 4-22 are charged for individually and the Council will only reply if a tick is placed in the appropriate box on the front of the form
If stand alone CON29 (R) and CON29 (O) submitted together (with extra parcels) for same area of search only £4.00 per parcel payable.

Access to information
Our local land charges department offers a ‘one stop shop’ facility.
All data required to complete the con29(r) and con29(o) can be obtained from the local land charges department on payment of the required fee.

Please note: Information held by the council on public registers, or information that is publicly available relating to the area of search required to complete the con29(r) will also be provided with the above.
Requests should be faxed to the department on 01924 305263 or e-mailed to landcharges@wakefield.gov.uk and will be available for collection and payment the next working day between the hours of 10.00 am to 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm. Please ensure the type of information required is shown i.e. con29(r) or con29(o) together with the relevant question number for con29(o) enquiries.
Please note: Each request must be accompanied by a plan of the property or area of search required. In the case of new developments, a site plan clearly identifying the property must be provided.
