Processing of building regulations applications
This involves:
- Checking plans to ensure they comply with Building Regulations and Allied Legislation and negotiating changes where necessary.
- Visiting building sites to check work under construction.
- Managing buildings and structures that are identified as being in a dangerous condition.
- Managing the demolition of buildings.
- Managing means of escape in case of fire from buildings.
- Managing improved access to buildings for people with disabilities.
Providing guidance and advice on all types of buildings and constructional problems including those not subject to Building Regulation control.
