Some households may qualify for free insulation regardless of their
circumstances, and residents are being urged to apply.

great time to start thinking ahead and to start planning for next winter.
“Having good insulation can make a big a difference in keeping homes warm and
helping to manage heating bills in the colder months.”
The scheme is part of the Council’s drive to help residents save energy and
money, and reduce fuel poverty.
The insulation work will be delivered by the Council’s approved Better Homes
Yorkshire insulation partner, A&M Energy Solutions. BeWarm Wakefield is the

The Council will be sending out leaflets and A&M will be visiting areas of
the district over the coming weeks to promote BeWarm but residents can apply
