Preloved Market coming to South Elmsall
Ref: PR 6166
South Elmsall Market is hosting its first Preloved Market this Saturday (6 February), selling everything from vintage and collectors' items to arts and crafts products.
The Preloved Market will run from 9am until 4pm the first Saturday of every month, and will be held alongside South Elmsall's weekly Saturday Open Market, where you can buy fruit and vegetables, greetings cards, homeware and clothing for all ages, along with a popular butcher's stall and a wet fish stall.
Cllr Denise Jeffrey, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth and Skills at Wakefield Council, said: "Preloved markets are proving popular across the country, and we hope that plenty of people will pay our preloved market a visit too. They are a great way to recycle, find a bargain and save some money.
"Stalls are proving popular, so people should be able to find a bargain on the many interesting goods which will be on offer – not just at our Preloved Market but also at our weekly Saturday Open Market."
South Elmsall Market also has an outdoor play and exercise area which includes a basket swing, climbing frame, outdoor gym equipment and a table tennis table, giving children and adults the opportunity to keep active.
Stalls cost only £5 to book, and there is a limited number still available. Traders are limited to one stall each. To book a place, call into the South Elmsall Market Office or call 01977 723375.
