There’s something in the water at Pugneys Country Park
Visitors to Pugneys Country Park are being invited to join in a monster hunt on Wednesday April 1.
Recent sightings of a mysterious underwater creature at one of the Wakefield district’s most popular attractions has prompted speculation about just what is lurking in the lake?
So, monster hunter Dr Jones has been called in on a special mission to help youngsters to track down the Pugness Monster and crack the mystery.
The exciting event will involve an ‘eggsploration’ walk around the park to track crucial clues in the hunt for the creature, on April 1 at 11am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
All ages welcome but booking is essential, so call 01924 303723 or email email@example.com
For those who can’t make the times, a free map of the walk which will be available until Easter, can be collected from the visitor’s centre.
