Meet the author events at Wakefield Library

We are inviting people to a series of 'meet the author' events taking place at Wakefield Library.

People will have the chance to meet and speak with authors about their popular novels at the events which run from March to June 2015.

Full dates include Saturday 7 March from 2pm-3.30pm The Temporary Bride with Jennifer Kilnec , Thursday 26 March, 2pm -3.30pm Requiem with Berlie Doherty, Wednesday 15 April,6pm-8pm England Arise with Juliet Barker, Friday 22 May, 2pm-3.30pm The Quick with Lauren Owen, and Wednesday 24 June, 7pm -8.15pm Herring Girl Debbie Taylor and Into the Trees with Robert Williams.

Cllr Les Shaw, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and Sport said: "These events will give everyone the chance to come along, and meet some popular and talented novelists. It will be a great opportunity to learn and find out more about their writing experiences so get the dates in your diary and come along."
