We are inviting people to come along and take part in the next Cabinet on Tour event.
It takes place on Tuesday 24 February at County Hall, Wakefield from 11.30am and gives people a new way to engage with the Council.
Students from Wakefield College are also attending the meeting and will have the chance to ask Cabinet any questions they may have.
Wakefield Council's Cabinet meets every three weeks and discusses the district's important issues as well as hearing reports from the different council functions. The meetings are where key decisions are made following discussion between all elected members.
Council Leader, Cllr Peter Box CBE, said: "The Cabinet on Tour events makes it easier for people to engage with their local Councillors. So far they have been a great success with many residents attending the events in Pontefract and South Elmsall.
"The next Cabinet meeting is aimed at giving young people from across the district a chance to ask us questions and put us through our paces."
The meeting will also be streamed live on the day. For further information and to watch the video visit www.wakefield.gov.uk/yoursay
