Come on...Get on your bike!
We are urging residents to jump on their bikes and get inspired to join in the bike fever across the district.
The Council is working with British Cycling to offer fun, free varied programmes of rides across the district. Rides are suited for people with different abilities – there are easy-going rides for families and beginners, steady – to give you a bit more of a pace and challenging for advanced riders.
Cllr Les Shaw, Wakefield Council's cabinet member for Culture, Leisure and Sport said: "There is still plenty of time for people to enjoy cycle rides throughout the district and we offer various rides for people of all abilities.
