Newly refurbished Featherstone Library to reopen

A revamped Featherstone Library will reopen its doors on Monday 7 April at 10am following a complete refurbishment.

The refurbishment is the ninth library to be completed as part of the on-going review of Council library services. The library has been completely transformed and benefits from a new look and new layout so that users will enjoy their experience even more.

Cllr David Dagger, Wakefield Council's cabinet member for Culture and Libraries, said: "We are very pleased to reopen and hope all users of the library will agree that the environment and layout are much improved. The staff look forward to welcoming existing customers back and hope to attract many new users as well."
