The Wakefield Early Help website has arrived
A new website aimed at providing families across the Wakefield district with an easier way to find help and support has been launched.
Early Help for children and families comes in many forms and from what they tell us, we know it's always better to support children and families experiencing difficulties as soon as possible in order to stop problems getting worse.
So whether it's advice for a parent, family member, young person or even someone who works with children, looking at the Wakefield Early Help website will help. It provides information and guidance, as well as a directory of services of local support to help children and families thrive and resolve problems at the earliest opportunity.
Cllr Margaret Isherwood, Wakefield Council's Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, said: "The Early Help website is so straight forward and easy to use. It provides families with the advice and information they need all in one place and will make it easier to get help sooner rather than allowing a problem to get worse before seeking help.''
The website also includes practical information, maps and photos of the Children First Hubs and Children's Centres, including locations, opening times, programme of events and the services they offer.
