We know that having a cleaner, greener and safer district is important to so many of you and that’s why we are working hard to help achieve this. 

We have been running an awareness campaign in response to the Place Survey which found that not enough people knew what the Council does to keep the district clean, green and safe.

The campaign featured some of the real people who are cleaning our streets, looking after our parks and public spaces, taking care of our recycling and waste collections and making our communities and streets safer. They are keen to let people know about the work they do and the challenges they face, as well the many highs and lows of the job. They all have a huge amount of pride their work and are passionate about the role they play in making a difference to the lives of the district's citizens.
