Grants for essential repairs
If you own your home you may, in exceptional circumstances, qualify for a grant to help you carry out essential repairs if they are require emergency attention and you do not have the ability to afford them through either a commercial loan or through one of the loan schemes that the Council offer. Your age, income and the nature of the works are taken into account.
