The Council's Home Care Service is provided by both in-house and independent sector providers. These services are monitored and checked by the Council to ensure vulnerable people are safeguarded and receive a quality service. There are other care providers in the area, full details of these including the Care Quality Commission (cqc) quality rating and latest published inspection report are available on the cqc website (see 'Related Links'). Please note: the Council does not monitor these care providers as the Council does not have a contract with them.
The Council in no way recommends one particular agency over another and does not accept any liability or responsibility.
