Annual Report

The Apprenticeships, Skills and Learning Act 2009 introduced a requirement for Safeguarding Children Boards to produce and publish an annual report on the effectiveness of safeguarding in the local area. This report should provide an assessment of the effectiveness of local arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Further information on LSCB Annual Reports can be found in Working Together to Safeguard Children (Chapter 3).

The Annual Report of the Wakefield and District Safeguarding Children Board for 2010/11 will be published when it becomes available.
