The Adoption and Permanence Team is part of Family Services within Wakefield Council.
Our responsibility is to recruit, train and assess prospective adoptive parents. We also provide ongoing help and support to adoptive families when required.
We have extensive experience of finding families for children who need permanent adoptive homes. We provide detailed information about all aspects of adoption and the needs of children being placed for adoption.
