Shared Lives Carers who receive regular support and opportunities for training & development are more likely to have the skills needed to support them through difficult times.
All Shared Lives Carers are expected to attend training as part of their ongoing approval. Training will be held on different dates and times, to fit in with your availability as an approved carer.
Whilst working as a Shared Lives Carer the Shared Lives Worker supporting you will help you to have access to further training to develop skills. We will pay you to attend the course.
