Alternative Providers of Care

The Council's Home Care Service is provided by both in-house and independent sector providers. These services are monitored and checked by the Council to ensure vulnerable people are safeguarded and receive a quality service. The contact details for the Council's contracted providers can be found under 'Downloads'.

There are other care providers in the area, full details of which including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) quality rating and latest published inspection report can be obtained through the CQC website. Please be aware the Council does not monitor these care providers as the Council does not have a contract with them.

The Council in no way recommends one particular agency over another and does not accept any liability or responsibility.
