Q: I have recently found out that my child has a disability. It would really help if I could talk to other parents. How can I get in touch?

There are a number of local support groups. These include:

Downs Syndrome Support Group
This is a local group that offers mutual support, advice and information to parents who have children with Downs Syndrome and other special needs.
