It is important that we all take responsibility for the waste that we produce.

Landfill space is filling up rapidly, and the raw materials that we make things out of are running out.  We can all help to tackle the problem by practicing the 3Rs of waste:

• Reduce -  to prevent waste before it’s created e.g.stop junk mail.
• Reuse - using products again in their current form for the same purpose or another use e.g. “Bags for Life” from the supermarket.

• Recycle - making something old into something new e.g. glass is easy to recycle into new bottles and jars.
