We’re changing the way we collect your waste making it much easier for you to recycle.

This won’t affect everyone straight away. We will phase in the new waste and recycling collections to all properties across the district throughout 2008. Since November 2007 we’ve been trialling the scheme with over 66,000 households through out the district.

The final phase of the new waste and recycling collection scheme was launched on October 21. The expansion of the scheme includes Knottingley, Castleford, Normanton, Altofts, Sharlston, Featherstone, Ackworth, Pontefract and Darrington
