Waste and recycling bins

All households in the Wakefield district has the following waste and recycling bins:

• A brown bin for paper and cardboard
• A brown bin for garden waste – if you have a garden
• A green recycling box for glass bottles, cans and plastic bottles
• A green or grey bin for household waste

Waste and recycling collection service

One week we’ll empty your paper bin and recycling box. The following week we’ll empty your garden waste bin and your household waste bin.
