We strongly encourage residents to reduce, re-use and recycle their waste.

We provide seven Household Waste Recycling Centres, as well as mini recycling banks at convenient locations throughout the district. 

You can recycle many things including glass, paper, plastic bottles, cans, textiles and shoes.

Please note: There are 2m height barriers at all the Household Waste Recycling Centres except Wakefield. These can be opened for you on Tuesday and Thursdays.
