White Cement Resin Bonded Asbestos

To ensure that you do not endanger your health whilst handling this material we have suggest you follow the following precautions. This is not exhaustive but it will help you when considering how you work, and the dangers involved if precautions are not taken. 

Guidance on handling White Cement Resin Bonded Asbestos:

  • When removing  asbestos sheeting, piping or boards always damp down the material to prevent 'airborne dust'. 
  • Always wear protective, disposable, clothing, gloves, goggles and a good quality dust mask. 
  • Avoid breaking the material when handling and place it immediately into thick polythene bags, sealing them straight away to make sure fibres are not released into the atmosphere. 
  • All material must be double wrapped in thick polythene and sealed before disposal. This includes your protective clothing and equipment.
