Wakefield Council will dispose of household white cement resin bonded asbestos free of charge.

We ask you to follow the booking procedure below to dispose of your asbestos.

Make an appointment

You will need to make an appointment to dispose of your asbestos.  This can only be disposed at the Waste Transfer Loading Station, which is located at the Wakefield Household Waste Recycling Centre site on Denby Dale Road. You will need to bring one form of identification with you on the day, as proof that you live in the district. 

Attend your appointment

Attend your appointment with your material double wrapped in thick polythene and sealed before your arrive at the site.   

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not do this, you will not be allowed to dispose of the asbestos.
