We generally are unable to investigate complaints about normal everyday activity in residential premises - even if noisy.

These activities are not generally considered to be a noise nuisance unless it is being carried out in some unreasonable way.  It is not considered as criminal behaviour. 

This includes such things as:

• Footsteps
• Dropping objects
• Light switches being used
• Talking or raised voices
• Doors closing
• Toilets flushing
• Babies crying
• Children playing
• Reporting a noise problem
