Noise we do not investigate
We generally are unable to investigate complaints about normal everyday activity in residential premises - even if noisy.
These activities are not generally considered to be a noise nuisance unless it is being carried out in some unreasonable way. It is not considered as criminal behaviour.
This includes such things as:
- Footsteps
- Dropping objects
- Light switches being used
- Talking or raised voices
- Doors closing
- Toilets flushing
- Babies crying
- Children playing
- Reporting a noise problem
