We are joining forces with Keep Britain Tidy in their national dog fouling campaign to encourage all dog owners to clean up after their pets.
We have received over 734 dog fouling reports in the last year and are keen to promote responsible dog ownership.
Bag that poo – any rubbish bin will do.
Increasing amounts of bagged dog faeces are being left behind as people fail to dispose of their bags after cleaning up after their pets.
Dog mess can be thrown in any general litter bin but a recent Keep Britain Tidy survey shows that four out of five respondents are not aware of this.
Irresponsible dog owners who are seen to allow their dogs to foul and fail to pick up and deposit of their waste correctly will be issued with a £50 fixed penalty notice.
