This is available to all governing bodies on a subscription basis.

The service provides over 90 events per year, including programme courses for individual governors, bespoke courses for whole governing bodies or groups of governing bodies and an annual conference at Woolley Hall.

The Authority encourages all governing bodies to appoint Training Link Governors to promote training and development on the governing body and to liaise with the local authority on these issues.

The Training and Development Service also provides a Governors’ Resource Library from which governors can borrow books and materials.
