Free School Meals are given for up to 12 months.  This is subject to your income/benefits remaining the same.  You must then re-apply.   In order to process your claim quicker we have three separate times when we are able to look at your claim. The time when your claim must be renewed depends on your surname.

We will send you a new form towards the end of your 12 month entitlement period. You must return the completed form to us before the end of this period, together with proof or either Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Child Tax Credit (have no Working Tax Credit and have an annual income of less then £16,040.00), or Guarantee element of State Pension Credit.
