Wakefield's online admissions and applications
Due to technical difficulties, we can't send decision emails to those who applied online and selected this option.
You can still see the result of your application by logging into your account using your username and password.
Wakefield online admissions for school places starting from September 2014
For Wakefield residents only, you can use the online facility to apply for a school place:
- Online Admissions - please note that you will need to register before you can fill out the application form. (You are advised to make a note of your secret answer and password).
The online facility will be available on 9 September 2013 and closes on 31 October 2013. You can still use the paper version found under 'Downloads'. School admissions for secondary schools will re-open on 1 March 2014. If you apply online you can log on and check your result.
Primary, junior and infant schools
The online facility will be available on 30 September 2013 and closes on 15 January 2014. The school admissions website for primary, junior and infant schools will re-open on 16 April 2014. If you apply online you can log on and check your result.
All mid-year applications (including those for schools in other Council areas) MUST be made on a Wakefield admissions form. You can get these from Wakefield Council’s School Admissions Team.
