Wakefield's online admissions and applications
Wakefield online admissions for school places starting from September 2012
For Wakefield residents only, you can use the online facility to apply for a school place:

Secondary schools
The online facility will be available on 1 September 2011 and closes on 31 October 2011. You can still use the paper version found under 'Downloads'. School admissions for secondary schools will re-open on 1 March 2012; if you apply online you can log on and check your result.
Primary, junior and infant schools
The online facility will be available on 30 September 2011 and closes on 15 January 2012. The school admissions website for primary, junior and infant schools will re-open on 11 April 2012; if you apply online you can log on and check your result.
Changing school
All mid-year applications (including those for schools in other Council areas) MUST be made on a Wakefield admissions form. You can get these from Wakefield Council’s School Admissions Team.
