Co-ordinated Admissions Policies (2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 academic year)
- These documents give details of the co-ordinated admission schemes for Wakefield. These policies allow the Local Authority to co-ordinate admissions across the district.
Wakefield District Council is the Admissions Authority for all community and voluntary controlled primary and secondary schools. The admissions arrangements have been determined subject to final approval by Cabinet and the policies can be found under Related Downloads.
Fair Access Protocol
- In line with the Government’s 5 Year Plan for Education Wakefield has agreed a Fair Access Protocol with its high schools. This means that, in some circumstances, pupils defined in the Protocol will have a higher priority for admission than all other pupils seeking admission to that school.
