Community/Voluntary Controlled Admission Policy

These documents give details of the Admission Policy for Community/Voluntary Controlled schools in Wakefield for 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 and 2009/2010.

Voluntary Aided Schools

The Governing Body is responsible for admissions at Voluntary Aided schools. Details of the admissions policies for aided schools are available directly from the school.

Co-ordinated Admissions Policies (2009/2010 academic year)

These documents give details of the co-ordinated admission schemes for Wakefield.  These policies allow the Local Authority to co-ordinate admissions across the district.

Fair Access Protocol

In line with the Government’s 5 Year Plan for Education Wakefield has agreed a Fair Access Protocol with its high schools. This means that, in some circumstances, pupils defined in the Protocol will have a higher priority for admission than all other pupils seeking admission to that school.
