Wakefield District Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
Under the Childcare Act 2006, councils took on a new duty from April 2008 to secure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that the provision of childcare is sufficient to meet the requirements of parents in their area in order to enable them to work or undertake education or training leading to work.
A full Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA) needs completing every three years with an annual review. The full CSA for 2010 has now been completed. Please see the 'Downloads'.
