What is bullying?

Bullying is an act of repeated aggressive behaviour in order to intentionally hurt another person, physically or mentally. 

Bullying is characterised by an individual behaving in a certain way to gain power over another person. 

Bullying is not just related to children and young people but is sometimes experienced by adults as well.
