Wakefield Adult and Community Education Service
The service aims to make learning available and accessible to all who live and work in the Wakefield District. This is done through 20+ local centres and outreach projects. For more information on courses and the location of a centre near you visit the website.
Basic Skills Agency
The BSA is the national development organisation for literacy and numeracy. An independent organisation, it produces teaching and learning materials, and develops and consults on programmes to improve the skills of children and adults, from cradle to grave.
Havercroft and Ryhill Community Learning Centre

University of the Third Age (Wakefield)
The Third Age Trust encourages lifelong learning for those no longer in full time gainful employment.
WEA Yorkshire North District
The Workers' Educational Association offers adult education to as wide a range of people as possible. Unlike most other education providers, the WEA is governed by its voluntary members.
