Getting there

By road: Access off Seckar Lane
Wakefield By car: From Wakefield City Centre, take the A61 Barnsley Road. 1 mile after Newmillerdam Village, turn right down Seckar Lane.
By bus: From Wakefield, Service 59 (Stagecoach) along Barnsley Road, getting off at the stop opposite Seckar Lane. The nearest entrance to Seckar Wood is on Barnsley Road, 250 m downhill from the bus stop

Parking

Parking is available for about 20 cars on Seckar Lane. The car park is approximately 450 m on the left of Sekar Lane.  An entrance to the site is on the right.  Alternatively, park in the lay-by on the A61 opposite the turning into Seckar Lane.
