Winner of Green Flag Award 2009/10
For the third year in a row Haw Park Wood once again achieved the prestigious Green Flag award, the national standard for parks and green spaces. This means that it has met stringent criteria - it is welcoming, accessible, woodland. It is clean and safe, well maintained and managed in a sustainable way with strong involvement from the local community.
