Bretton Country Park and Yorkshire Sculpture Park

No descriptionBretton Country Park is part of the estate once attached to Bretton Hall and is also home to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and a nature reserve. The country park includes 500 acres of lakes and parkland, housing various sculptures as well as being the home of several endangered species.

Beautiful 18th Century landscaped grounds was originally landscaped in the style of Capability Brown, and included the planting of thousands of imported exotic trees, to the modeling of hills and valleys and the use of water and architectural features.

The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is an international centre for modern and contemporary art and presents a programme of international exhibitions and a number of sculptures by locally born Henry Moore.
