Anglers Country Park today is a special site, which is well used and highly valued by local people as well as its many visitors from far a field. The parks 120,000 visitors a year enjoy a real taste of the countryside with open rolling land ideal for walking, picnicking and bird watching.
The 2 mile Lakeside Walk can be enjoyed by walkers, joggers, cyclists and horse riders; whilst the hides located on the main lake and Pol provide excellent observation points for the local wildlife.
To the rear of the visitor centre, you can take a short stroll around the Woodland Walk. Picnic areas can also be found behind the visitor centre and overlooking the lake.
Interpretation panels located around the park provide the visitor with points of interest and benches allow rest points to take in the views.
Dog walkers and horse riders
Dog walkers and horse riders are welcome as long as their animals are kept under strict control.
