The childhood home of novelist George Gissing (1857 -1903) is maintained by The Gissing Trust.  

The Centre exhibits material about Gissing's life and writing, including a model of the family home plus family memorabilia.  

  • Admission is free.  
  • Open Saturdays (May to September) 2.00pm - 4.00pm, or by appointment
