Dressing Up

Clothes in the early 1900s were similar in style to late Victorian costume. Women tended to wear separate bodices and skirts. ‘Best’ clothes, worn to church and evening functions were decorated with lace and beads.New artificial dyes had become available so there were also more colours to choose from.
