We brought in comments books for both traders and customers at our market halls in Castleford, Pontefract and Wakefield in July.
They have been well received but we found that the issues that concerned traders were not always those that concerned customers and vice versa.
We are pleased to say that the markets offices at these three markets now have comments books just for traders and you can rest assured we will be looking at them very closely to find out your views.
We can’t promise that we will put every suggestion into action - there are often valid reasons why we can’t do certain things - but we will address health and safety issues immediately and take action on other suggestions that can be addressed through current resources.
We are also introducing forms at our other markets so traders there will be able to feed their ideas back to us. From this month rent collectors will have the comments forms with them when they do their rounds.
