Yorkshire Libraries and Information (YLI) Music and Drama Service
Wakefield Libraries manages an important regional Music and Drama collection for Yorkshire Libraries & Information (YLI).
The collection based at Wakefield Library Headquarters comprises over 500,000 items of music and 90,000 copies of plays.
Together this makes us one of the largest collections of performing sets in the country.
Use of the Service within the Region
The collection is available to individual users, schools and music and drama groups in the Yorkshire and Humber area.
Please contact us for full details on how to use the service.
Services to Groups outside Yorkshire
The service is available to organisations and groups outside of the region on a pay per use basis.
There is also a charge per parcel for carriage outward (you are responsible for the cost of return).
The charge covers a loan of up to 6 months an option to renew for a further period is sometimes available in which case the loan fee will be charged again.

Applications to borrow music or drama sets may be made by telephone or in writing to the library (see contact details below). Confirmation in writing is required before we can despatch any items.
