Friends Groups are a way that you are able to become involved in the support and development of the library within your community by:-

• supporting and enhancing the services provided by the local library.
• fund raising.
• providing voluntary assistance for some functions as agreed with library staff.

This is still a relatively new idea so not all libraries in the Wakefield District have a Friends Group. However, the following libraries already have a group established:-
